MONICA'S SECRET has left the building. Yay! Now I begin the anxious wait to see what my editor thinks of the final version. :)
In the meantime, I've put an (unedited) excerpt on line. Go here if you'd like to check it out.
I'm taking the rest of today to clean house and stare at my to-do list (decadent behaviour, I know.) There will be partying tomorrow evening, I believe. We do like to celebrate every milestone in this house! On the immediate writing front I have galleys to proof and then I'll be back at work on the final draft of THE HARLOT.
I have lots of treats lined up for when that is done. It's been a busy year and with two novels done and gone I plan to take a few days to read, read...and read some more.
First up on that score will be FREAK PARADE from Marilyn Jaye Lewis, a much anticipated novel from an exceptional literary erotica writer who I admire very much. It's currently beckoning to me and I shall be snatching it up once I've completed my final draft of The Harlot. Can't wait!
Right now, a dirty kitchen awaits-- and I don't mean dirty in a good way, alas.
