Blast from the past

Woke up to a lovely surprise this morning. My dear friend Matt North is revamping his website for his band ALL LIVING FEAR, and came across a couple of pics of us all backstage at the Whitby Gothic weekend in (I think) 1998 (Matt will correct me if I got that wrong!) hadn’t seen some of these before so I thought I’d post them here so you can see me in my Bride of Dracula look LOL

My dear friend Rhona is on the left, and me on the right, with Matt being fussed over before the gig. There is also a post-gig video, which I wasn’t aware was even being shot at the time. Ahem. Naughty naughty goings on.

Eight years ago! Blimey. Time flies. The differences are I have a few more wrinkles, I wear glasses for distance and I have a stack of weight gain, courtesy of being completely immobilised for over six months when the bone condition I have in my legs worsened. Other than that, same hairdo, same preference for black clothing. LOL We’re in the process of revamping bits of my website, and there's a reasonable portrait of me with a bunch of the books coming soon. Now that I’ve got actual novels out and forthcoming, I want the front page to be more about me and the novels, with a gallery of anthology covers as part of it, but not the main feature. Meanwhile, if you want to see a recent photo of me, here’s one taken with pal Wendywoo (AKA Mistress of erotica, Portia Da Costa) this summer. I’ve actually lost 4 pounds since then, go me!

Aha, the terror twins of Cafe Revive!

We'll have to have one taken at our Christmas bash... with Santa hats or something! LOL

If you want to see an up to date one of me, check my blog. There's a pic taken on Saturday if you want a good laugh!

Black is a perfectly good color - I have a bunch of it myself. They say it's slimming, but I don't see it working very well. *gg* Oh well, only one thing to do about that and I'm not quite ready to give up my junk food.

Yay on the 4 lbs.!!!!!!!

Wendy, your photo is super! We're not laughing. A christmas photo will be fun :)

Bailey, the only problem with black is finding things in the wardrobe LOL Thanks sweetie. 4lbs isn't a lot but it's slow cos I can't do a lot of exercise. At least it's going in the right direction ;)

It was indeed a great time, Jordan. But um, some of us haven't completely grown out of it. LOL
