This novel is a big contemporary BDSM erotic romance set in London and Oxfordshire. Carmen and Rex are a couple who have history. They first met when their parents married, back when Rex and Carmen were teenagers. They were expected to play brother and sister, which didn't exactly work out too well. They are now adults and at odds over the manor house that has been left to them.

Carmen is a business woman now and expects to be able to buy the house out from Rex - who has never shown any interest in it. She's incensed when he offers it to her free of charge in exchange for two weeks together in the house, during which time he can have her--sexually, any way he wants.
