News galore: new book contract and new books!

Lots of news to share today!

First up is the exciting news that I've been offered a new two book contract with Harlequin. I'm so thrilled and excited that I am ditzy in the head at the moment! (more ditzy...? ;) I love working with my editor there and I'm delighted that we'll be working together on two more books. Here's the official announcement from Publishers Marketplace:

		Fiction: Women's/Romance		Saskia Walker's THE BURLINGTON MANOR AFFAIR, in which long withheld and forbidden desires are played out in a passionate battle over ownership of a British stately home, again to Susan Swinwood for HQN, in a two-book deal, by Roberta Brown of the Brown Literary Agency.

The two novels are contemporary set erotic romances and they will come out on the HQN line after my Taskill Witches series -- which is scheduled for February (THE HARLOT) March (THE LIBERTINE) and April (THE JEZEBEL) in 2013. I won't know when these latest two are due out for a while yet, but I'll be working to complete and submit the first book before December 1, so you'll hear more about that while I'm working on it.

Meanwhile, I've now seen proofs of the first two covers in the Taskill Witches series. I'll soon be able to unveil all three, yay! I can't express how happy I am with the covers. The HQN art team create awesome book covers and these are no exception. They feature simple, iconic images that capture the essence of each story perfectly. They're going to be gorgeous looking books and it's so thrilling to be able to imagine them in print now.

Today is also the publication day for the Italian translation versions of the 12 SHADES OF SURRENDER series. For the Italian series my story FORBIDDEN RITUAL (a shibari BDSM love story) was chosen for translation.

 
And if you're a UK print book reader, the 12 SHADES OF SURRENDER series has been released as two print volumes. You can order them on Amazon: volume one here, and volume 2 here, and they'll be available at other venues soon. The collection will also be available in print in the US and worldwide during September.

I've also been celebrating with my pal Portia Da Costa because her wonderful erotic romance novel IN TOO DEEP was re-released as a mainstream book with a beautiful new cover.

Just check it out, how sexy as that! If you're in the UK and you haven't already read this title I urge you to pick it up. It's a wonderful story, it's everywhere in the shops at the moment including supermarkets and WHSmith, and there are lots of special deals about. You really can't afford to miss this story.
